Elsevier has agreed to enable Jisc’s Publications Router service to notify UK institutions of articles authored by their researchers.
Under an agreement signed by Elsevier and Jisc, Router will capture metadata of articles from their Science Direct platform, providing early alerts to participating institutions of articles accepted for publication in Elsevier journals. These notifications can be ingested directly into institutions’ systems, such as their open repositories.
The feed via Router is likely to go live in the early part of 2019.
